Set RT system time and date from NI MAX

Procedure

1. Open NI MAX
2. Locate the NI Academic RIO Device target under “Remote Systems”
3. Select the “Time Settings” tab
4. Select the correct date, time, and time zone
5. Click Save
6. Optional, but recommended: Click Restart to cause the current time/date to be stored as the initial time/date each time the Device boots up; a reboot requires several minutes

Tips

• Power cycling the Academic RIO Device without performing a formal shutdown process does not save the current system time/date
• You may need to know the “admin” account username for your Device to complete this operation
• You can also access the “Time Settings” dialog from a browser
