RT procedure

Set RT system time and date from a browser

Browse directly to the Academic RIO Device network address to use the Web-Based Monitoring and Configuration tool. Note: The NI ELVIS III does not have the Web Interface for modifying these settings. Use NI Measurement and Automation Explorer (NI MAX) to modify these settings instead.

Procedure

  1. Connect the Academic RIO Device by its USB cable to establish the “USBLAN” network
  2. Select one of these supported browsers: Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari
  3. Enter the network address 172.22.11.2
  4. Select the “Time Configuration” page
  5. Select the correct date, time, and time zone
  6. Click Save
  7. Optional, but recommended: Click Restart to cause the current time/date to be stored as the initial time/date each time the Device boots up; a reboot requires several minutes
